PSC Controller of Examination Scheme And Syllabus

PSC Controller of Examination Scheme:

(i) No. of questions and marks on each question: 100 objective M.C.Q. type question carrying 1 mark each and 20 marks will be on descriptive type questions.

(ii) Duration of the examination: 1 hour 30 minutes (one and half) hours.

N.B.: There will be negative marking for wrong answers in respect of the objective-type questions. 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Section A: General Knowledge (100 marks/objective type)

(i) Current Affairs – National and International.

(ii) Issues of National and International Economy.

(iii) Sports.

(iv) Science and Technology.

(v) Environment including Climate Change.

(vi) History and Cultural Heritage.

(vii) Indian Polity including Indian Constitution.

(viii) Geography.

Section B: English Language aptitude test (20 marks/descriptive type)

(i) Comprehension of a given passage – 8

(ii) Identifying figures of speech in given sentences – 4

(iii) Letter drafting – 8
