However, as the name implies, the qualifying test for each teacher appointment. The CBSE TET test that is taken at all Indian levels is called the Central Teacher Eligibility Test or CTET. The CTET is a qualifying examination for the appointment of teachers in any school under the Central Board. Again, the state government may also appoint teachers from the CTET. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is the regulatory body for all state tests. The State Governments take their own State tests in compliance with the NCTE guidelines and curriculum. Teaching qualification can be achieved only if you get 60 percent marks in TET. The qualification is valid for seven years from the first time you take the exam. However, if you want to take the test multiple times to increase the number, there is no obstacle.

 

 

There Are Two Levels Of TET Exam:


Paper 1: Primary Level (Class I to Fifth), for Primary School Teaching.

Paper 2: For higher elementary level (fifth through eighth), if a candidate passes in Paper 2, he will qualify for both levels.
 

Terms And conditions for Paper -I Of CTET / TET:

 
45% pass mark in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination and Diploma in Two-Year Elementary Education / BELED / Four-Year Elementary Education / Special Education.
 

Terms and conditions for Paper-II of CTET / TAT:

 
BA / B.Sc. / B.Com Graduate and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Deled) / Bed / Four-Year Elementary Education (BELED) / Four-year BSc or BA.
